Ben Walker spent several years either side of his BSc in Development Studies working in some of the more remote parts of Africa managing relief and logistics operations. He moved to London and joined the UK's leading marketing recruitment consultancy where he successfully built a new business unit, opened their Scottish office and developed their clientbase into new sectors. He joined a small Scottish consultancy as Development Director to grow their business beyond their core offering and helped introduce new methods, training and areas of specialisation, as well as heading up their search function. He has worked with key clients in the financial, FMCG, sports, retail, engineering, technology and professional services industries.

He is now Managing Director of Walker Selection Ltd and his ambition is to create the most sought after consultancy for the best UK companies. Outside of work he is a keen skier, golfer, tennis player and waterskier and at weekends helps coach rugby at NBRFC but the majority of his spare time is dedicated to his three children (and two dogs).

Susie Grant has spent fifteen years in the recruitment world and has achieved considerable success throughout. She studied at Edinburgh University before moving to London and starting her career in media and publishing. She moved to recruitment and worked with key consultancies in the financial, media, internet and sales and marketing fields, progressing quickly to become a Director whilst still in her 20's. In her last role she launched a specialist technology marketing arm which enjoyed exponential growth and proved how the value of good service always wins, even in a highly competitive marketplace.

Susie is a Director and Company Secretary.

Walker Selection utilises three researchers depending on what the client requirements are. We also use a marketing consultant to ensure that any advertising undertaken is channelled through the most relevant mediums available.
